Wondering what it takes to have a career working from your own home office?
I see so many people asking what it takes to work from home. I think gas prices and daycare has made the general population take a hard look at other options rather then going to the office on a day-to-day basis. When I first thought of working from home I didn’t realize there are thousands of people who have already chosen this type of career and are able to be in the comfort of their home and make a very good income.
Here is a list of some basic questions you might want to think on when considering making a change:
#1: What would it save me to work from my own home office as opposed to going to the office everyday?
#2: What are the advantages and disadvantages of freelancing?
#3: What types of work can I do from home?
#4: How do I set up my own home office? What kind of equipment is needed?
#5: How do I balance my family while working at home?
#6: What if I have a pet in the home?
#7: What kind of computer should I use? What type of software is required?
#8: Do I have to have high-speed internet or will dial up be fine?
#9: What happens if I have an emergency and cannot work from my own office? Do I have a back up plan?
#10: What hours will I be required to work? Is it set hours or can I set my own hours?
#11: What type of communication do they desire? Phone, Email or in person? Can I meet this type of communication?
#12: How will I be paid and when?
#13: Is it an hourly position or commission?
These basic questions and more may need to be answered when you are considering a change of career.

Working at Home with a Disability
Are you needing a job but unable to work outside your house? Have you ever thought what it would be like to be able to work in the comfort of your own home? Maybe you have small children or a handicap child where you must be the main caregiver, or maybe you yourself have a handicap and getting out of the house is impossible or very hard for you.
All of these are things and situations I have seen in the past 5 years while I have been working from home and my heart has grown a soft spot to share a dear friends story and some hope for those who may be sitting in this situation.
My friend who was pregnant with twins had some major complications that left her paralyzed. She had always been a very active lady so after the accident she began to become very depressed and down because she basically was destined to live her time in bed.
One day she received some information on people working from home and began researching and researching work at home jobs. She landed a position and began working a job from her bed with a laptop. This job seemed to open up many doors and dreams for her because she was able to once again work and feel she was contributing to her family.
In the meantime she was able to set her schedule around her many Dr. appointments that she was required to do to keep her health improving. Today she is now able to walk a little and has some of her normal functions back but still continues to work from home being a huge inspirations to others like myself who also want to work from home.
When I started out 5 years ago I had a small son who was in a bad daycare situation and I had to make the choice to give up a job I had been at for 7 years to take care of him. I ended up working under my soon to be friend and she began to teach me what it meant to be successful working from home.
I owe this lady so much and have never met her face to face but consider her one of my dearest and closest friends. Not a day goes by that I don't check on her to see how she is because without her help I don't feel I would have had the chance to be successful from home because I am not sure I would have taken the time to search and learn like she did from her bed. I feel this great opportunity was given to me so anytime I can help someone else find a great job from home I feel I can give back a little of the love she should showed me. So if you find yourself in a situation where a work at home job would benefit you I hope you can see that there is hope in being able to work from home and not just a dream!

Jobs Based From Home
About 5 years ago I was working outside the house full time helping under privileged children get a chance to learn and in the mean time dropping my own little guy off at day care to be raised by someone else 9-10 hours a day. When my son was not quite 2 years old all of this changed for me. He ended up in a bad day care situation and I had to make a decision to put him before my career. My husband was working a job that was very unstable at this time in our lives so we lived paycheck to paycheck barely able to keep our basic bills paid. When I made the decision to pull my son from daycare and raise him myself I was very scared but decided that I was going to find something I could do from home and this is when I began to spend many endless days and hours searching and searching for something that would allow me to make a paycheck but still be there and available for my kids. I had always heard of people who had jobs like this but I never thought I would get that lucky.
In my search for the "perfect" work at home job I ran into many things that were not legit and I would learn the hard way many times costing my family even more money that we didn't have to throw away. If only I had been able to have a great source to turn too for all of this help it would have saved me so much time and money. So this is what I want to do for other people. I have a great resource that I feel can help anyone who is serious about looking into working from home. I want to share this great website that I found with you and save you the hours I spent searching on my own many times coming up empty handed and frustrated. I feel a lot of people who may not be as determined as I was would give up before they are able to even find a job. If you are one of those people who are serious about looking into a work from home job or maybe even just curious on how it could help you I recommend you take the time to look at http://www.jobsbasedfromhome.net. Here you will not only find thousands of resources on how to find the perfect job but also help with setting up your office, what an employer is looking for, resume writing, and questions that you need to ask someone before you would take a position in your own home office so that you are able to weigh out the pros and cons of working from home.
Not everyone is cut out to work from home but I feel the above e-book will give you all the information that I spent months researching on my own at your fingertips allowing you to make a sound decision on what is right for you and your family. I know for mine it has worked out great for me so I wanted to give others the chance to see this first and possibly be on the way to making a great income everyday all the while not sacrificing their kids to someone else.
